St Oswald's Church, Tile Hill

The Church Hall was renovated in 1999 with the whole front being ripped out and rebuilt, it was completely redecorated in 2012. It is spacious, has office facilities, a disabled toilet, and a shower. The kitchen was completely refitted in 2012 following a bad hailstorm which caused a lot of water damage, a new cooker and hob was fitted in 2019. Planned work for the future includes converting one end of the hall for storage and a complete revamp of the lighting.

The hall is currently used by a number of groups and organisations, including:

The Hulme Academy of Dance
St Oswald's Community Advice Centre
Tile Hill Job Club
Tile Hill Foodbank
The All Star Theatre Company

and is regularly hired for private parties (global pandemics allowing).

It is, of course, also used regularly for church events. It is the centre of the Christmas Fair and on Shrove Tuesday is used to serve up free pancakes.

The hall is spacious (around 140 m2) and has a disabled toilet and a fully fitted kitchen. Cutlery, plates etc. are available for use and there are 14 tables and 54 chairs. Hire cost is £15/hour for long-term booking or £20/hour for one-off and short-term bookings. These prices are for bookings up to 9pm, charges after 9pm are £40/hour.

If you would like to hire the Hall either for a party, or as a regular meeting place for your group or class please contact us on 07512 924401.
