Flourish Women’s Bible Study

It’s been just over one year since Fr. Ed and I moved to the Parish of St Oswald’s. Over that time we have been given a warm welcome and got stuck in with everything going on. We have seen changes, coming out of lockdown, on the logistics of doing church. We’ve seen people feeling more isolated and also losing their confidence. We’d intended to run Flourish Women’s Bible Study at the beginning of coming here in September 2021 but there was still an unease about meeting in small groups.

I am very excited that we are finally launching the group and meeting with you all weekly! Also, I will be in my knew role as Creative Mission Intern along with our new mission intern Zerafshan Adeel and will be sharing the things we have been learning in our training at St.Marks Academy. We look forward to delving into his word with you and finding out what he has to say to each of us over the next year.

Each person attending the group will get a beautiful journaling bible. We will be learning to hear the voice of God and will write down our thoughts and important scriptures. When we give space to spend time with God he delights in that and has abundant blessings to give us. I can’t wait to see in a years time how much we will have learnt, discovered and changed!
